Phab Physics

New here? This is the map.

Phab Physics is a complete AP Physics 1 course companion: daily printable handouts, matching online homework, and a teacher dashboard. Here's how the pieces fit — in about five minutes.

How the site works

1

Students practice daily

Each unit is broken into days that mirror real lessons. A day has a guided problem (an interactive simulation worth +4), plus auto-generated Easy/Medium/Hard problems toward a 10-point daily goal. Every student gets different numbers, with instant feedback and hints.

2

Handouts pair with the site

Every day has a printable handout — warm-up, guided notes, classwork, homework. The handout's "Paper Practice" pairs with that day's online problems. Unit tests and answer keys are locked to teacher accounts; everything else is open.

3

You see everything

Create classes with join codes, watch a per-student progress matrix fill in by unit and day, configure point requirements per class, and export to CSV/Excel for your gradebook. Only you can see your students.

Your first 20 minutes

Try it as a student — one click, no account. Jump straight into a simulation: 🎢 the rolling race, 🌊 buoyancy explorer, or ⚡ spring energy. Then open the practice site as a Guest and solve a problem or two.
Skim a handout. Browse the handouts — open a day from a unit you teach. Each unit's daily set runs warm-up → guided notes → classwork → homework on 4 printable pages.
Get a teacher account. Sign in with Google on the Teachers page — accounts are supporter early access (donate any amount for an invite code; school pilots by arrangement). This unlocks the dashboard, online homework tracking, and the unit test / answer-key vault.
Create a class and share the code. In your dashboard, click + New Class. Students sign in with Google and enter the join code — that's their whole setup.
Assign a day. Tell students "do Day 3 to 10 points tonight." Tomorrow, the progress matrix shows who did what. The step-by-step setup guide and the video walkthrough cover the details.
