Setup Guide
Class setup for teachers with an existing account
Before inviting students, confirm your school or district’s approval and complete any required agreement with Phab Physics. School privacy and accessibility review is ongoing; an account code does not establish approval. Read the current school-use status.

Open Your Dashboard
- Go to the teacher dashboard
- Sign in with the Google account connected to your existing teacher account
- Your classes and account-only resources will be available there
New teacher?
Create an account with a teacher code for the 2026–2027 pilot. Pay at least $5 on Ko-fi (we suggest $3 per student) and ask for a code in your message, then follow this setup guide.

Create Your Class
- Select + New Class to open the Create Class panel
- Enter a class name (e.g. "AP Physics Period 3")
- Click Generate for a random class code, or type your own
- Your name auto-fills from your Google account
- Choose the class’s course: AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2 or AP Physics C
- Click Create Class
You can create multiple classes (one per period). Click + New Class in the toolbar to add more.

Share the Code with Students
- Give students your class code (write it on the board, post in Google Classroom, etc.)
- Students go to phabphysics.com and sign in with Google
- They enter the class code when prompted
- Use Refresh in the dashboard to load their saved progress

Configure Settings (optional)
- In Class Settings, select your class from the dropdown
- Toggle boss problems and guided problems on or off
- Set required points per day (default: 10)
- Set lab/test day points for days with different expectations
- Optionally set point caps per difficulty (e.g. max 4 from easy, max 6 from medium)
Settings auto-save as you change them. Each class can have different settings.

Track Progress
- View all units at once, or filter to a specific unit
- Click any day score to see a breakdown by difficulty
- Use Export CSV or Export Excel to pull grades into your gradebook
- The Excel export includes a detailed sheet for every unit with per-day, per-difficulty breakdowns
